La Hunta Winery is about 230km south of Santiago and is surrounded by the Matakito River and the Andes.

It is located in the Clicco Valley at latitude 35 degrees south. Clicco Valley is Chile's oldest viticulture region

This region is widely known as the "heart of Chilean viticulture".

It has a Mediterranean climate, a long dry season, and annual rainfall of 700 mm or more.

The temperature difference between daytime and nighttime is very large, 18ºC or more, making it a valley suitable for wine production.

In particular, the terrace-shaped fields facing the Matakito River are soils with a lot of stones and sand, and the temperature rises due to the influence of the river.

It is suitable for growing red wine varieties and is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère.

The other fields are at the foot of the Andes and are suitable for growing white wine varieties.

Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are made in this field.
